t INTER NATIONAL NEWS SERVICE CLEVELAND, April There is a definite and steady upturn of business in Cleveland and throughout Ohio, according to reports made by. chambers of commerce throughout the state. Unemployment in Cleveland,' which Teached its peak about January 1, when 130,000 wage earners lacked jobs, is gradually receding. Figures made public show that the total unemployed now number approximately 100.000, and sixty-seven reporting Industries show increases in men em

ployed of nearly G per cent lor the

The steel centers of the state report greatly increased business,

many mills long closed harvlng resumedoperations, some on fulltime "basis, while others have given Jobs to more than 60 per cent of their idle men. Bank clearings show a steady and consistent gain throughout the state, and merchants report that tho demand for goods is now approaching normal proportions.
