A prominent Hammond man serving in an official capacity, sayi Hammond is in need of fifteen hundred homes ranging in price from two thousand five hundred to seventy-five hundred dollars. He says there are any number of outsiders, having interests in Hammond who would make Hammond their home if suitable quarters could be found. For instance there is a certain exporter in South Chicago who has been looking for a suitable home in Hammond for some time. He says of all the communities he has familiarized himself with, he prefers Hammond to any of them. He also says he knows of others who feel the same way about it. Hammond is the logical spot for homes of every description. Hammond will house the majority of craftsmen, business and professional men of the entirr region in the future. So whether you build to occupy, build to sell or build to rent, Hammond is the logical spot and now is the logical time.
