Annually use organic Nuxated Iron to build up red blood, strength and endurance. There are thousands of people who are ageing and breaking down at a time of life when they should be enjoying that perfect health which carries defiance to disease simply because they are not awake to the condition of their blood. Without organic iron your blood carries no oxygen, and without oxygen there is nothing to unite with the carbon in your food so what you eat does you no good. It is like putting coal into a
stove without fire. Too can now obtain organic iron like the iron in your blood and like the Iron in spin-

erence plan is presented to employers In a delightful way by Coijstance Talmadge in , her newest picture, "Good References," to be shown at the DeLuxe theatre commencing today, for three days. In this picture Constance, a the heroine, takes the part of a poor girl seeking a job without references. She is turned down everywhere until finally she "borrows" the references of a. sick friend. The scheme works and she gets a Job and proves quite efficient. The trouble with many employers, according to Miss Talmadge, is the fact that they themselves pay too little attention to the study of the character and too much to looking up past records of achievement.

ABOUT THAT IMPROVEMENT EDITOR TIMES I noticed In your article in yesterday's Times headed "Plans to Improve Columbia avenue this summer," in which it appears that you had a report that I had made a statement to the effect that the improvement will be knocked out. I very much regret the misunderstanding and wish to say that there is no one in East Hammond that wants the improvement knocked out. The facts in this case are that we asked the county officials to change their present plans and to give us the kind of pavement that will not interfere -with future improvements on Columbia avenue. TV'e asked them to build 15 foot concrete on each side of the present pavement which is 30 feet, and have the center intact, so that it will not have to break the street when the sewer water mains and other underground improvements are made. This is in the business section of East Hammond. The. county officials assured us of their co-operation and there is no doubt that the improvement is going through. SAM SKUFAKISS.
