Mrs. Florence Wickhorst entertained the members of the Beta Gamma Upsilon Sororlety at her bome last evening. Mrs. Loretta Byerly of Forsyth Watre Gardens gave several selections of fancy dancing for the North Shore Glee Club at Rogers Park on Friday evening of last week. Ruth 8welg of Atchison avenue, has a slight case of the measles. The Theodore Roosevelt Relief Corp will hold their next regular meeting April 8th. Thty have arranged a 500 and pedro party in the afternoon and 600 and Bunco in the evening on Saturday, April 39th, to which they cordially invite the public. There were 500 stamps attached to the back ft the envelope and held together in strips by metal fasteners. Each stamp was worth four rubles, making the total value of the stamps S.P00 rubles. At the
normal rate of exchange, at which each ruble was worth fifty-one and a half cents the stamps on the letter were worth over SI. 000.

He was appointed recently by Governor Kendall to fill the seat vacated by Senator Kenycn, who has accepted an appointment from President Harding to a federal judgeship in Iowa. Rawson is chairman of the Republican central committer.
