Obituary
Caroline Biliian, dauyhter of Fenjamin and Catherine Miller Slioop, was horn near Bucynis, Crawford County.
Ohio, July 16, 1S53; and departed this life February 14. 1322. at the ago of 68 years 6 months and 29 daye. She was one of fifteen children, of whom nine survive her. When but a few months of ae she moved with her parents to PeKalb County, III., where she grew to womanhood. On June -, 1873, she was united In marriage to Enery F. Echofleld, now deceased, coming: with him to the vicinity of Griffith where nhe haa since resided. To this union seven children were born, six of whom are now livingEugene of Canada, Lillian of Montana, RaU.h of Panama, Karl, Arthur and Webster of Griffith,. Lcis having- passed sway in 1S1. In March, 1S02, she was united in marriage to John It. Taylor, who survives her. In July, 13C0, she, united with, the Chriirtian church of Griffith. She leaves to monrn her losat husband, six children, twelve grandchildren, four brothers, five sisters, nephews, nieces and a hort rf friaaJa. 2-18-1
