Take A Look At Yourself
On the twentieth day of September The Times carried an article on the fifteenth anniversary of the arrival In these parts of one of Hammond's big men. After recounting his various achievements and his success in political and social life mention wan made of one thinf? in his life that probably brought that particular man more self satisfaction and more glory than all the wordly fame and f.nancial success that he could grain If he were to celebrate Uis one hundreth anniversary. Ho had written his Mother a letter every week for seven hundred and fifty weeks and had received that same amount of letters from his Mother which necessitated his reading: and writing each letter, quite an achelvement, says the article. That man and perhaps a good many others will read this artice snl carry out its instructions to the letter, but with a feeling and Joy and pride that his Mother has heard from him each week. Do you really want to see yourself in the same light as this man and many others who have set aside a little time each week for the thoughts of Mother and home? Do you realty dare take' a peek into your own soul If you have this desire and this courage stroll over ta the DeLuxc Theatre on Friday or Saturday and see, as much as your filling eyes will permit of "The Old Nest." The person who calls it a. movie libel it. Those who term it a screen

VV i'M' I I ' I I I. I drama, know nothing: of the stage, for it is neither movie or drama. It vio lates every theory of film, it lacks every feature of the theatre, every element of story and yet it grips and grips and grips. Are you contented, sleek, conceited I with the power that you have won In your battles of life? Are riches yours and wealth that you have saved or gained? Are you taking from life all that you wish and does the thrill of battle and the grlory of conquest satisfy you Perhaps you are a wife. In your own home with a doting husband and prating babies. Do the matinees, social gatherings and other pleasant activities fill all your thought arid drive away memories that might arise? Do you think at evening of hands 1 that once tenderly tucked you into bed .that later worked into the night on your evening dress, that trembled as they waved you farewell on the day that you went from the old home to the new. You mar have failed in life. The struggle may have been too hard and the going too strong so that you fell behind and accumulated a load of bad (habits and accumulated a reputation J that makes you prefer the untraveled paths and that cause you to slink under cover as you shamble along. Have you forgotten the. one pair of arms that are ever stretched forth and will j ever be ready with a welcome, no matter how far you may have fallen?
