To you patrons of the theatre, who hitherto have been forced to journey to Chicago to find entertainment that appealed to your discriminating tastes, we bring a message: It has long been our ambition and aim to give the theatre-goers of this region the biggest and best photoplays obtainable and in addition we have always wanted to operate a theatre that was beautiful enough to appeal to the most fastidious, with a stage roomy enough to allow the presentation of the more pretentious productions of the year. We are at last in a position to make this vision come true. ITie Partheron Theatre answers all these specifications and is on the direct route between Indianapolis and Chicago, which simplifies the booking of the larger productions so that now we can offer you the latest hits put on by the same casts that appear in Chicago and at a wonderful saving to you in time, convenience and expense. You have had to sacrifice tinierailroad or street car fare and home comforts to attend high class productions in Chicago, only to find after your arrival that scalpers had your choice scats at unreasonable prices. Then the long and tiresome journey home after the performance. That can be eliminated in this manner: If you care to co-operate with us we shall be able to offer you the very highest standard of attractions right here in your home town where you may, view them at your own convenience, and free from the exasperating and temper-destroying incidents that attend your going to the larger cities to view the same productions. So let's pull together. You furnish the patronage and we will furnish the entertainment on a scale equal to that of the largest cities and of a grade and type that will please even the most critical. Our first offering will be "THE BAT." which has shown to thousands in Chicago and
kNew York and enjoyed a season of over two years in these cities, on Friday and Saturday.
Yebruary 17 and IB. we have guaranteed a large sum of money to bring this stellar attraction to Hammond and in return hare the positive guarantee that the show will embody the same production and company that played fifty-three weeks in Chicago. Now wre need everybody's co-operation in putting this play over, and if it succeeds through your co-operation we will book "Irene" with the original cast and bring it to Hammond just one month after "THE BAT," Watch "The Bat" advertisement tomorrow for instructions for your reserved seats.
