Without straining- their efforts in the least or having to employ a different set of tactics, the. East Chicago club basketball team added another victory to their credit Saturday night at the McKinley gym when they met the Elgin Watch Five and defeated the visitors 60 to 20. The game was in thj hands of the East Chicago boys from the start. It was s-iniply a matter 'if how many baskets the E. C. C. wanted. Back and forward to the basket the club boys raced apparently without meeting up with any interfecrnce. When the East Chicago team had proved their superiority, th Watch Makers helpless allowed the home team to make the game uninteresting with a lopsided score. Without tasting defeat, the- East

Chicago club hoop tossera, have scored three successive victories this season. This reputation is placing tbm berore the eyes of sportdoni and making t able for them to matcb some of the best teams in the, oojnntry. Among their late challeijfces are the Gary Y and the Chicago Rig Five. Both teams of which have national reputation. Tibia sudden popularity of the Easl Chicago club team lias caused some rivalry amjoiig the younger members of the El'xs, and according to reports, the B. O. E.'s are mobilizing to chaUerrjjo the club team at an early date. The East Chicago club team might -be sorry. Who knows what hidden material can he found clothed in an ordinary civilian suit. The Elks are. busy frying to find out.
