Government aecret service operatives, acting under orders from ths state department, were sent from Paris to Havre and are there waiting for the steamer to dock. The government's advices today bowed that Morse was bound for Germany. In previous years, Morse ha.s visited German mineral baths in an effort to recover his health. Morse, before leaving New York last Friday. was advised through his counsel that proceedings were to be started soon aralsst him. So lar as the government was advised today, Morse sailed under an assumed name and Is suspected as having" adopted a clever disguise. One report was that he worse a false beard nd used crutches. Ho had been lame for a number of years but heretofore has used only a cane. Glrard In Hammond yesterday ar.d after the ceremony announced that henseforth her husband would have first pla.e in her affections and that cats and dogs would ccme next. The wedding took place yestenTay afternoon at. the Hammond Baptist church. P.ev. J. ". Oranger. pastor of the church, officiated. The only attendants of the couple were Pr. ami Mrs. ..V. A. Young, of Hammond. Mrs. Girard was a member of the same class as Dr. Glen E'or!ht. of Hammond, when attending veterinary school. The bride showed her practical nature

and a slouch hat. Hence the social reporter could not handle this story. Mr. Girard Is secretary of the Major Engineering Corporation of Chicago and is well known In Hammond. His company has already made arpngements for taking over the veterinary hospital of Mrs. Glrarfl and keeping her at the head of it.
