H. White, also colored who conducts a coal yard at 1020 Washington street, stated that he has boon having trouble with coal thieves ami last night he spied three men prowling: around the coal yard. John Rostas has filed auit for divorce in the Oary Lake Superior court against his wife, Julia Rostas. j John alleges in his complaint, that l the defendant had him locked in jail at Stanford, Conn., In an effort to force him to marry her. They were married October 29, 1921, and on that day the ! defendant. John says, refused to live I w ith him.

Rostas is a mechanic and has lived in Oary at 17th and Crant street and 1345 Van Buren street for a number of years. He asks that he be granted an absolute divorce.

Pete Kotometu appeared yesterday in Judge Clemens court and stated that Sam AleoRlou had pointed a pun at

him. He swore out a warrant for Mr.

Aleoglou's arrest and wants him put under peace bonds. After AleojHou
