Mrs. Gough of Amy avenue entertained a number of young folks Tuesday evening in honor of her daughter Helen's Bliteenth birthday anniversary. The Kaske family were the guests of Hon. J. Kopelka In Crown Point for Thanksgiving dinner. . J. Kooy is the proud owner of an Oldsmobile. Miss Margaret Keilman returned on Wednesday evening from a three months visit at Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Barbara Scher and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Scher and Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, Jr., attended the Silver wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bohling at South Chicago on Thanksgiving Day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deaa and family of Chicago are visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Scherer. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schmal celebrated their Silver wedding on Thanksglvln. Dinner was served, to thirty relatives and in the evening a charivari was given them by members of Sewing Circle, No. 1, of which Mrs. Schmal is a member. The ladies were Invited in and a most enjoyable time was had by all with music and playing cards. At a late hour everybody departed for their homo after an enjoyable evening spent. , Mrs. Elizabeth Keilman of Chicago, is visiting here with her mother.
