The lecture in its entirety will long be remembered by those who availed themselves of the opportunity of hearing It. Mrs. Kumpler's next visit will be anticipated with great pleasure . Mr. Taylor, a representative of the Merrill System of Co-Operative home building-, was presented, and gave an interesting talk assisted by stereotplcan slides as Illustrations. He gave an Interetslnc explanation of the rtosslbility of converting u three-room apartment into seven rooms. A detailed description of furnishings and lighting- was given and Mr. Taylor stated that he believed such a building would soon be built in Hammond. Mrs. Charles Stokes of Ann street delightfully entertained a number of little folks at a birthday party in honor of her daughter Louise at her home on Saturday afternoon. The children enjoyed games, dancing and music, and pretty prizes were given to Alice Tapper, Lillian Cope, Jack Stokes and Jack Morton. Dainty refreshments were served to twentytwo guests, and the little people left wishing the guest of honor many mora happy birthdays, after having had a very nice time.
