137th AND CEDAR STREETS INDIANA HARBOR Is there a Baby in Your Home? Let the baty have its own savings account. A deposit of $1 or more will get a savings account for anyone at this strong bank. There's a lot of pleasure in watching the baby's bark account grow. And some day that money may mean more to the little one than you can possibly realize now. Why not have a bank account for your baby? Some parents get a bank account for the baby because they start it themselves. Others because the bank account comes as a gift (the next time you want to make a new baby a present, get it a savings account at this bank by depositing $1 or more in the baby's name.) Once the baby has a bank book there will be less tendency to needlessly spend this dime or that quarter. Rather you will set it aside to be deposited' in baby's bank account. Give the baby a chance with one of our bank books.

Kast Chicaeo climbed up a notch in importance today when one of the applicants for full citizenship in Koom 2 of the Hammond superior court made it the first city of the state. joe Bufenorskl had fnade fair headway in answering- questions put to him by the examiner. He knew Hnrdiner was president and that "Washington was the capital. "Where do they make the laws for Indiana?'' he asked. "East Chicaeo," replied Joe promptly, swelling with pride at the opportunity to render patriotic homage to his home city. From there on Joe was no Rood. He was told to come; back in March. Another question Which stumped several applicants and also caused blank looks to come over the faces of many old timers around the court reorn was:
"Who Is lieutenant-governor of In-i diana?" Not a man could answer it tuil the examiner decided finally to lay off of the euestfori or there would be a shortage of new citizens. Several lav yers could be s'en lurrying away in search of information. Naturalisation matters continued
heavy in the court today but it was ' thought the prist could be cleaned up
