Paxton Hibben, secretary of the Russian commission of the near east relief, has just returned from Moscow where one of his last acta was the placing of a wreath upon the grave of John Reed, American communist. Reed died in Moscow a year ago and is buried under! the wall of the Kremlin.

NEWPORT, R. I.. N.jt. 4. Injuries received In a football game yesterday caused the death at th naval hospital last nigrht of Frank Nadeau, 23, of Lowell. Mass.. a first class fireman on the battleship North Dakota. He was
picked up unconscious after a scrimmage In the third period of a game between the North Dakota team and the seamen gunners' eleven of the torpedo station. Death was due to rupture of a blood vessel at the bae of the brain.

ENDS OWN LIFE
NEWTON, Mass., Nov. 4. The body of Louis Tellier, Massachusetts open golf champion, was found yesterday hanging- by a small rope In a shelter on the links of the Braeburn Country Club. The medical examiner and police said death was due to suicide. The motive for the suicide was not known, but the fact that Tellier had not been well for some time was advanced by friends as a possible explanation. Tellier came to America from France in 1913 to play In the national open golf championship tournament at the Brookline Country Club. That c.lu subsequently engaged him as its resident professional, and he stayed here until he went to the Braeburn Country Club as professional three years ago.
