Miss Muenich, opened the mot-ting with a brief outline of the year's work. Mrs. Moran, the club president. announced the opening of a service shop in the Tublice Library and Mrs. W. A. Hill made a ehort and Instructive talk. Miss Alta Adkina took charge of the evenInge's program, and introduced Miss Gcraldine Swanson of the Hammond Musical College. Mi?s Swanon read a very Interesting paper on the subject of "Danoir.s and Its Effects." This was ft.ilowed by a delightful demonstration of dancing by the pupils of Miss Swanson 'n the following manner:

Miss Winer is desirous of hearing from the mothers who are Interested In sending their tiny tots, from the ages of three-and-a-half to eir yoars to a kindergarten well supervised and equipped with the best of materials. Yellow ribbons ran from the flowers to each place, where tiny bouttonnieres of asters were tied to the placerards. A delicious course dinner was served to fifteen guests, during which appropriate toasts. congratulations and good wishes werv- ex-ended to Mr. Glamore. The evening was enjoyed with cards and dancing. - Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Robert McDonnell. Mr. Herbert Glamore, Mr. Austin H. Glamore, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Corner and daughter Miss Morcr.e of West Hammond, Miss Florence O- iman of Harvey, and Mr. and Mrs. Harrison McLaughlin and daughter Mis Dorothy and Miss Phyllis of Hammond.
