ROBBERS LOOT ATHLETIC CLUB CHICAGO. Sept. 30. Robber invaded the lobby of the Illinois Athletic Ciuh in Michigan avenue early today, terrorized two employes and robbed them of J367, the day's receipts. None of the 150 guesta of the club were molested. Two :bandit.s drove up in a taxi-cab during- the severe rainstorm. They entered the club lobby, drevy revolvers, compelled A. C. Warn or, the niht clerk, to open the cash drawer, loo'ed it of its contents and escaped. Kdward Jansen, elevator man, was menaced by the bandit' guns. A policeman strolled by as the cab containing the bandit drove, away, but was unaware that a robbery had bwn committed.
