Our nine big stores are the real reasons why Chicago people prefer the GENERAL for

furniture. They have learned the conveni ence of shopping in their own neighbor

hoods where our stores are located, and they have found that the GENERAL S

prices are exceptionally moderate at all times, and they can always bank on the quality of the merchandise. This reputation for reliability is wortK considering when you contemplate the purchase of furniture; moreover, the GENERAL'S credit plan is, admittedly, the most liberal in all Chicago. A dollar down gives you any article in any of our stores, and you may arrange to pay off the balance in small weekly or monthly installments to suit your convenience.
