A council meeting of the Woman's clubs or the Tenth district will he held at Fountain Park, Remington, on Friday, September 23rd. All club presidents are members of the council, and all club women are invited. A chicken dinner will be served at 12 o'clock.

Dan has been doing some work at the hospital and during some fpare moments had slipped across the street in one of West Hammond's saloons. INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE NEW YORK, Sept. 22. Lowell Sherman, movie actor, who is desired aa a witness by the Prosecutor at San Francisco in the "Fatty" Arbuckle case, was located by detectives today and served a request-subpoena which will require Sherman to submit to be questioned by Edward Swann. New York District Attorney. Sherman readily agreed to be a witness provided what he divulged was not given out by Swann to the papers and provided he was not questioned by reporters.
