Contracts for the remaining sections will be let hy he Cook county cojnniissionor next spring. AVhen finished tho highway will run north on Burnham ave.. to 147th St.. which i the continuation of Hammonds Sibley st.. and thence on 147tli St. to Western ave.. in Chicago. Tff county's plans provide for only an ttighleeTl-foot roadway but the clty of West Hammond has improved the opportunity to make a regular street out of Rtnibach ave.. while the opportunity is provided. The city is standims the expense of six feet additional pavement on each side of the county roadway and putting in curbing from State Lino st. to Went wort avn.
