Map of Ireland showing the four provinces, ot which the sis northelrn counties form the Ulster partition. Geographically. Ulster, which blocks the unity of Ireland, is apparently insignificant. Her area is but a fraction of the a2,58b squar miles which make up the whole of the country. Yet sh; has more than half of Ireland s wealth, and practically all of its manufacturing industries. The south is devoted almost entirely to agriculture.

DOGS MUST BE KEPT OFF STREETS Dopa that are riot muziled or chained must be kept off the streets of (iary and not permitted to run t larffe. Such was the edict issued by Chief Fnrbm of the Gary poliee today. With the aptiroaehtng dog days as they are commonly termed. several persons have, already been bitten by roaming curs and unless they are kept off the streets In the. future they will be captured by the city dog catcher, taken to the city kenne.l.- and then killed If tho owner does not claim them in three days. Those who permit dogs to tun at large do so in violation of a city ordinance and are subject to arre.-Jt. Yest-rday a little pen of Mrs. Nelson, o-tl Adams wtrt-etit. was bitten by a vbieus animal. Mrs. Nelson called the police and staled that if they neiRhbors did not keep the d ok chained or in the house in the future she woubl prosecute them. THE GARY FIRE DEPARTMENT NOW RANKS FOREMOST That fne Gary tire department water pressure system is recognized with that of Baltimore as th" best in the entire United States and superior to the departments of Chicago, New York or San Francisco was that .statement of fire insurance companies and Underwriters last week after witnessing the spectacular water display by fire chief Grant an dhis men. No other city in tho. country equals the Gary department with the exception of Baltimore. It was after the disa.troua contlafrra t ion in the buriness section in that city in 10ti4 that Baltimore made added impro vt-ments brins im- it up to a par with the city oi Gary. Without little exertion the pumps of the Gary pumpins station fave a pressure of 120 pound.; durinu the display when a total of twenty-eight streams were in action at one time. Most of the streams shot to a height of 123 to 150 feet while one nozzle with a lead of four hose running into it. shot Into tiie air a diny height of 20 fef t. In speaking of lower Ire insurance rates. Kire Chief Grant did not seem overly confident that the Underwriters would lower the Gary rates, although they expressed their approval of the Gary system. Overhead electric wires over the city will probably be one of the obftr.cles that will keep Gary from ettinsr lower rates. Co.

How I Was Wrecking the Lives of My Children And Suffering Indescribable Tortures Myself Day and Night A Mother's Terrible Confession.

For some tiro I had noticed that my two children, a boy of seven and a girl of ten, were Wcomine highly nervous, irritable and very diso&echen.t at times even "Mf." I tried various punishments, even whipping, but they kept growing worse. I fought and struggled with the situation. My ovn nerves were all "on edge" tha least thing put me into a rage. I quarreled and had most wnil "fuows" with tnr husbnnd oer nothing j I now look beck on them. I was too weak to work or enjoy life. a.nd Xrm nerroix&nd Irritable to go anywhere. I wae horribly Impatient nd otrlr if I dwa Dot set jest whet I wanted when I wanted it. I often suffered from serera hrt palpitation and iodiifstifm. ! coo id not sleep at night; I had a a almost constant dnll aching paia in the back of my neck and head, and frequently a very ditajtreeable senae of full'jest in the front part of my head. I often had serere p.lnacrosrny back.whJchnwlemethina Ihnd kidney trouble. I also bad tender spot along the ipine, which conviocrd me that a fall I bad LjuI icTerai year ago had caused permanent plnal Injury which later proved to be only "a eaae of nervea." I could cot begin todecribe ail the torture, terrible pains, and great derltalUiog weakness which I endured. Nobody, not e Ten m y h utbejid. aee med to appreciate or real 1 iy coaditioa, and very few oflTrred any yiQpathy, which irritated ma all tho more, Finally 1 went to a (toctor ami told hi fa ir.y rtory. what awful children I had, and ak1 bi advice a to what to do witb them, and whether or not I ahonld aend them to a reform arbool. After studying my cae and taikir.tr with me and my children, to my surprlee and rfiaguit he tuld rae I was the came of my children' condition; that it wa all ray fault. At thi 1 flew Id to rage, butaflrr I had quieted down somewhat, be explained to me the terrible condition of my nenre cells. He told me how th (ystem only manufactured so much nerve force, and that thi vital fluid of life wa tored in the nerve cell, much like electricity i tored jn a tor;re lottery, and that I wa like an electric automobile after the electricity in the torage batterie had nearly II been used up, and the car could therefore, hardly move. Tha above U a hypothetical case, which a physician seys may well Illustrate thousands which azlet today. Home are wrecked, children mined, suicide caused, all thrsngh exhanstrd nerve force, or neurasthenic comiltton. Very few people realise the awfol suffering and terrible physical and ro-ntnl torture h!ch may be caused by a depletion of tb nervo vltal flald. In such cc it I eften worse than foolish to take mere stimulating medicine or narcotic drugs, which only w&lp up your fagging vital powers for the moment, may be at the expense of your life later on. What you need is to put move nerve force Into your nerve and more iron Into your blood. This is most effectively accomplished by the free nse of Nnxated Iron. This valuable product contain the principal chemical constituent of active living nerve force In a form which most pearly -eeemble that in ttm nerve aod brain cell of man. It also contains organic iron like the iron in your blood and like the Iron la p!nach. lentils and apple. Tais form of iron will not blacken a or ir.;ure the teeth nor upeet the stomach. It i an entirely different thing from melallie Iron which people usually take. Nuxeted Jroe may therefore be termed bota a blood a.id a nerve food, a it feed strength-giving iron to your blood and the principal chemical Ingredient of active living nerve force to your braia and nerve cells Over f-ur million people are using Nuxated Iron annually, and from the remarkable beneficial results which it has produced, the mant facturen feel o certiin of it efficacy that they guarantee sst t 'actor y result to every purchaser or the will refund your money.
