AT THE PARTHENON A circus story with all the romance of the 'big top," thrilling encounters with wild animals and the magnetic screen personality of Gladys Walton, will be the principal attraction at the Parthenon theatre on Sunday. It is called "The Man Tamer." and Is a Universal special attraction in which the petite star of "Pink Tl?ht." "Rich Girl. Poor Girl" and "All Dolled Up," does her most appealing work. John Barton Oxford wrote the story and created a sensation with It in the "Red Book Magaxlne." It was adapted to the screen by A. I. Voting er and filmed under the direction of Hurry B. Harris. As the story gets Into action the star is lioivn as a circus girl, handling the wild animals in an animal act with her father, a veteran of the arena. The father dies and the girl is forced to go it alone, battling for her living and her honor against tremendous and utterly difoouraging odds. The heart wallop cornea into the theme when she takes a wild young millionaire and tames him just .'is easily as she tames iier wildest lion. Roscoe Kama plays opposite the star. The role is not new to him, for he has been a trainer of Jungle beasts for years. C. B. Murphy. Parker J. McConnell. William Welsh and C. Norman Hamond also have roles in keeping with their screen capabilities.
