Misses Blanche Meek and Florence Whiteman entertained the members of the Beta Gamma L'psilon Sorority, with a beach supper at the Whiting park on Thursday evening- On this same occasion the Sorority also gave a miscellaneous shower on Miss Gladys Oeffinger, a member, soon to become a bride. Among the arrests in the Whiting police court were Paul Gernuck, being charged with drunkenness. He plead guilty and paid a fine of $1.60 and costs. Chas. Kraus, for deckless auto driving, furnished J25.O0 bonds; John Loftus. arrested by officer Jewell for passing a street car discharging passengers, furnished a S50 bond, fr his appearance July 19th; Andy Zervveiiak, charged with ttcating a board bill, on complaint of Anna Yuhasi. lie was found guilty and fined $25.00 and costs and sentenced to thirty days in Jail; Elaine and Mary Soney arrested for assault and battery- on complaint of Caroline Drarek. Both were released on a $50.00 bond which
