The last extention of time awarded by the government to ex-ervice men for reinstatement of lapsed War Risk Insurance expires July 1. 1921. Under exceedingly liberal provisions, any service man of the army, navy or marine, may reinstate up to that time. Numerous instances of the Improvidence of lapsed insurance have been forced to the attention of the Red Cross in deaths or perious illness of ex-serviee men who allowed their War Risk Insurance to lapse and provided no other in it stead. I'nless a still further extension of time for reinstatement is allowed (which does not seem probable) ex fervice men who have allowed their insurance to lapse have only a few more days to act to reinstate it. This special notice -is given because the Red Cross knows a number of cases where the intention has been expressed to reinstate insurance. Call at the Red Cross office In Whiting If you are interested. T. JOSEPH SULLIVAN". Chairman. Home Service Section Whiting Chapter, A. R. C.
