Klebziks at her homo 3725 Tarrlsh ave. The mother of the hostess, Mrs. Blegin has arrlred here to visit from her home at lienton. Minn., and will remain for an indefinite time. The F. V. Club arranged a surprise farewell to Mrs. Reulah Compton who Is leaving for Vecdersburg. HI., today. The evening was pleasantly spent and many adieus exchanged. Mrs. Comvton has Keen a resident of this city for several years. Miss Jean Lindley. dauhter of Mr. and 'Mrs. TranTt Llndley of Ivy st. graduated with a collegiate, degree from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Tuesday evening. The commencement was attended by many of Indiana Hargor residents. Miss kindley gives a recital at tbe Gary First Congregational church next Tuesday evening in which her pupils will be the participants and their friends extended a most welcome invitation to attend. . . latter daughter of the Jay M. Rita of Elm street are coming from Chicago for a few days visit. The Sunday school class of Miss Ruth M-Cluskey at the Congregational church that wa to have picnicked this week, will meejt for a later date to enjoy an occasion of that kind and particulars will appear as to when it will be held. Mr. and Mn. E. E. Myer of the Atlas apartments hav left for Spooner. Wis., where they will visit for a few weeks. Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Rudeslll will soon be arriving in this city, to spend their honeymoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Robert of lutn street. The couple are being: married at Indianapolis and the bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Roberts arid was Miss Florence Eleanor Hairy before her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Billeter of No. Baring avenue have taken their family to Fawi Paw Lake to spend the summer. Mr. Billeter is returning here and will spend the week-ends there. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Oecner of 144th street have left for points in Wisconsin where Mr. Oecner goes in the interests of business for the Harbison "Walker Co. and the couple will visit the Dells before their return.
