The Maroon's piled up eighteen hits fcr a total of twenty-six bases . Samrnie Crcasbaum the Scatena pitch ing ace, was sent in to rerrorm against the Maroons and was nicked for five hits in the first inning including two doubles, one by Swutman and the other by Beaver, which netted the Maroon's three rune. L'rbanski -who was in the swatting mood started the fireworks with a clean single, then came Sweetman who poled the ball into the crowd good for two sacks, a moment later Beaver poled one a mile high which went exactly the same spot where Sweetman hit his two bagger. The Seats got a run in thoir half of the first on a double by Kenn-'fiy. a sacrifice and an error, then both pitchers set tied down -until the Maroon fourth when Payne opened the inning with a one base ply. Although it was Krassley who sent in the runs on his hit with the bases loaded. Then Porter held the Scats safe in their half of the eighth, and in the ninth he allowed the Scats a run, inasmuch as the game was 6ewed up for the Maroons.
