Legion, at his .funeral services at Cincinnati. Ohio. Galbraith waa killed in an auto accident. Thousands of persons were unabl- to obtain seats in the Music Hall, at Cincinnati, where the body lay in state and where the funeral

cervices were held. Fellow officers who had served with Galbraith, acted as pallbearers. The body was placed in a vault in Spring: Grove cemetery preparatory to its interment in Arlington National cemetery.

GRIFFITH HONORS HER HERO GRIFFITH. IXD.. June 15 The burial of Chauncy Walters was held Sunday. Services ewre held at his mother's residence In Griffith. He enlisted May 15. 1918 and left for France and wa In action wlthm a few months. He contracted pneumonia and died a fewdays later. A letter waa received by his mother from a minister overseas who had chaxre of his funeral, stating be was burled in Rimancourt. France, having privf-n hi life for hi country December 6. 1US. Hie remains arrived at Griffith on June 9th and on Sunday morning about 30 ex-service men gathered at tha city ball and marched to the Walters home. He was given a military funeral. Nearly one hundred automobiles follow ed the hearse from Griffith to Doss, where he was turied. He ts survived by his mother and 9 brothers. His father and sister preceded bim in' death some years ago. The following poem. composed by Miss Constance Gustafson was recited ty her at tha funeral.
