There was an interesting program, which was composed of tha following: reading. The faculty and parents of the juniors and seniors were invited. There were quite a few parents present. A most delightful time is reported. Mrs. F. R. Betz who underwent an operation at Wesley hospital on Monday is reported to be getting ajong nicely. The St. Paul"8 Walther League will not meet tonight as was originally planned, but will meet in two weeks from tonight, June 30th, whtn they will hiav-e a beach party at Miller beach with the Gary Walther League. Mrs. G. L. Smith and two daughters Helen and Edith have returned from a visit to Champaign. 111., where they attend tha graduation exercises of Mrs. Smith's nephew, Irving Hill. Mrs. Thomas Jordan very delightfully entertained the graduating class of the Hammond high school Tuesday night after the class hunt, at her home In honor of her niece Evelyn Parker who Is being graduated this yoar.
