At tiie age of 18 years .he united In marriage to Lew Crossly, to this union four children were born, Marie, Minnie. Gladys and Delbert, the husband, ton and one daughter preceeding her in death, June 14. 1912, she was united in marriage to Elvet Gerkin. to th s union two children were born, Violet Irene and Harold Franklin. On March 23. 1921, she became a member of the Methodiet church of Indiana Harbor. Mrs. Gerkina was of sweet disposition always had a kind word and smile for those she met. She was a kind and affectionate mother. She leaves1 to rnourn her loss a husband, mother. Mrs. Jennie Ritchie, one sister. Mrs. Ethel Marrls of Dayton, Ohio, and four children, Mrs. Marie White. Minnie Irene and Harold, also three grand children. Robert Melvin and Richard White, besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the home Monday at 2 o'clock.
