Th Foresters again showed their supremacy Sunday Ty defeating tho much-touted Indiana Harbor Nationals by tho score or 3 to 2. The Indiana Harbor lads had won five straight games, until they stacked up against the s'peedy lads of the C. O. F. Ambos pitched brilliant ball for the C. O. F. shutting out tho Nationals for eight Innings. Injuries however, caused him to turn tho pitching Job over to Moll In the ninth, after two men had scored and two men were on ba.se, and Moll forced the next batter to ground out pitcr.er to first, ending the Inning and game. Ambos earned the applause of the fans in the 4th inning when after the first two men had singled and the third man walked, he struck out the next three men to face him. It was a heady piece of work, Ambos truck out 18 men. gave 8 Tilts and Issued 2 bases on balls. Steffen for the Nationals struck out 9. allowed 10 hits and walked 5 men. He also got out of a bad hole in the third inning when with 3 men on base and none out. he ra-.do the next man hit a grounder to the shortstop, forcing the man at home and t'wn stiuck out the next two batters. The Foresters upro first to score. McCarthy, first man up in the 3th Inning, singled to center and stole second, from where he scored on Callahan's long single to left field. Meyer opened the Foresters seventh inning by getting a pa.ss. Lauerman sacrificed him to third. Schutz struck out. Fleischer hit to Donahue, shortstop for the Nationals. Instead of pliying for first. Donahue tried to cut off Meyer at the plate. Meyer seeing he was trapped, returned to third and tho catcher for the Nationals threw wild, allowing Meyer to score and Fleischer moving to second.
