M'GRAY NAMES WOMAN AS PROBATION OFFICER
INDIANAPOLIS. Ind.. June 10. Governor McCray has appointed Mrs. Corina C. Warrington, of Ft. Wayne. tate Juvenile probation officer and George W. Omacht, of South Bend. Judge of the South Bend city court. The position of state juvenile probation officer is one of many new Jobs created by the last legislature. It pays $3,000 year and expenses. The appointment is for four years. The officer Is d'rected by law to eupjrvlse the activities and appointments of local probation officers and to compile and systematise statistical and other Information relative to Juvenile courts and Juvenile probation. The law provides also for the appointment by the governor of an advisory committee of five persons who shall receive expenses out of the 18.-i 001 appropriated annually for the en-j tire work, and shall advise the probation officer.
