Miss Marie Shea of Bast Chicago was the guest of Miss Nora Sullivan on Thursday evening. The marriage of Nathan Wood, proprietor of the Wood pharmacy, Indiana boulevard and Myrtle avenue. Itobertedale and Miss Lula Metz of St. Louis, Mo., took place at the latter place on May IX. Mr. Wood, who Is a brother of Mrs, II. N. Nichols of Cleveland avenue and his bride are expected to return to Whiting tonight and will take up their residence at the Rafter home in Indiana boulevard for the present. H. S. Da-vidson is constructing a paddle pool In Forsythe square for the use of the five-year-old youngrsters. A party of nix little girls surprised Miss Elsie Jones at her home on Atchison avenue last evening. The event being the sixth anniversary of her birth.
