The board of directors of the International and of the Gary Trust held a meeting in the new bank quarters Saturday afternoon and both boards passed the necessary resolutions making the transfer and merger complete. Several changes were then made In th old International board of directors. "William J. Funkey. Jr., resigned as president and as a member of the board, and was succeeded by Harrjr U Arnold. Charles D. Pavidson resigned from the board and was succeeded by Walter H. Thomas. John Lincoln resigned from the international board and was succeeded by Mark D. Falvey. Don K. Van Uew resigned from the International board and was succceeded by Louis Goodman. M. 11. Mahilovich was elected a member of the board and E. C. Se'by. i

All the new men on the International board belong' to what is known as the "Arnold Organization." SEWER NO. 36 IS ASSURED A confirmatory resolution instructing that bids he advertised for district uewer No. 36 in the southern part of the city, assuring the early construction of same, was taken up by the board of public works at their regular weekly session yesterday. It Is estimated that the cost will amount to something like $70,000. The construction of the sewer Includes the installation of a sewage pumping station at the level of the irlen Tnrk sewer system. Bids for the sewer will be opened the last of this month.
