Tlie Calumet Gate Zionist organization of America have armncred for a very larjte mass meeting to be held at the Auditorium at Indiana Harbor Wednesday evening-. May 18, ivhere a large crowd is expected to participate. The featuring speaker of the evening will be an address by Prof. S. A. Hoffman, the title being, "The Jewtsa Quest ion of Today." This is Professor Hoffman's second i.it to this region. The first visit boinij last fall when the Calumet Gate first organised. Prof. Hoffman's presence will crowd the hall to its capacity and particularly draw the University element. They know Prof. Hoffman's ability as tn interesting speakers as ho has given lectures at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University on various topics. Mr. Jenkin, well known "Yiddishspeaker, will also be present. In addition to the speaking there will be a very well arranged music program. It is expected that all member Zionists and your friends and families frim every city in the Calumet districts will be present. The program will commence at S p. m. sharp Wednesday evening. May IS.
POLICE DANCE TOMORROW The annual Police Pension Fund lance will be held this year at the Ivndora hotel tomorrow night, and indications point to one of the most successrfu! affairs ever held by this cody. Advance ticket sales by far exceed those made 'by any of the previous dances.
