report published in many newspapers, April 26th, which inferred that Dodge Brothers' price would be reduced. President Haynes of Dodge Brothers advised our company has always bought advantageously and manufactured economically, and manufacturing stock held today is as low in figures as the replacement price on raw materials. Please bear in mind, we have increased our prices less than any other manufacturer with a single exception, and during that time feel we have added improvements to the car which at least off-set the necessary increase made. President Haynes further assures us that he is confident Dodge Brothers are giving honest value at present prices. Therefore, can see no business justification for a price reduction.
