Owing to the mild weather which prevailed during the ice harvest season just closed, the natural ice crop was almost a total failure. In the face of an unprecedented demand for ice we have made every effort to protect our customers, regardless of expense end have secured the tonnage of ice necessary to insure the normal requirements of our trade. For the above reasons, effective April 1st. 1921, an increase of 10c per 100 pounds will be charged until further notice. There will be no further advance in price this season. There is a very pressing demand from all parts of the surrounding country for ice, but we wish to assure our customers the tonnage we heve secured will be held to protect their needs.
