A SAD ACCIDENT A very sad accident occurred in the home of Harry Hutchinson on Fields avenue shortly after 9 o'clock Saturday morning, which cost the life of Ittt!. As : she rase from the bed the removal ofi her weight is thought to have caused It to fold up, striking the baby a blow cn the head which caused death an hour later. A doctor waa called at once and every effort w.s made to save the child's life, but to no avail. The funera! was held thi morning from the home of the little one's grandmother. Mrs. M. J. Klitch. at Clinton street. The burial took place in St. Joseph's cemetery. Harriet Is an only child of Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson, and the many friends of the bereaved couple extend their sympathy to them. Causes Wife's Arrest on Bigamy Charge Philip Meotka, who had his wife arrested by Hammond police two months ago on a charge cf bigamy, today filed suit in the Hammond superior court In which he aska to have his marriage annulled. Meotka and Violet P.ayb-irn or Johnson, which ever was her right name were married at Crown Point. Jan. 12 A day or two afterward Meotka wanted her arrested because he had Just learned that he had neglected to divorce her second and possibly her first hu.band. He said that Viclt had waited unt'.l he was thoroughly drunk and thn persuaded Mm to go to Crown rolnt and get the marriage license. When Phil.p sobered ur he found j himself married. Then Violet confessed that the name Johnson under which she had been going before marrying him was not the right cne. gh had married a fellow named Johnson, but afterwards had taken one Raybum aa husband. She had never divorced Raybum.
