Misdirected Treatment Will Make You Think So

Rheumatism is a very insidious disease. In fact, its pains may hardly be noticed at first. But t!cy become more frequent, and gradually increase m severity, and before you hardly realize it, you (ii c firmly in the grip of a disease that may make you helpless.

First of all, you must realize that Rheumatism's pains are not on the surface, and cannot be n:hbed away. Then you will discard the liaimcnt bottle, ar.d reek the source of the disease.

Many forms of Rheumatism are d je to a tiny germ in the blood, which multiplies by the million and spreads its pain to different parts cf the body. When you realize the logic of this conclusion, you will sec that you arc really wasting your time and money if you are expecting ny permanent relief from the use of liniments, lotions, and other locally applied treatment, which : an only reach the surface and have no effect whatever upon the origin of your trouble. Any disease should be treated at its source, and especially one that causes as much suffering as Rheumatism. For what you want is not m?re temporary relief from the torturing pangs of pain, which will promptly return with renewed severity. The only treatment worth while is one that will show some progress toward getting at the source of the disease, and freeing tiin victim from its shackles.

Pae one point that the medical profession has agreed upon is that some forms of rheumatism are caused by a tiny disease germ in the blood, which multiplies by the million, and until these germs are routed from the blood, you can see how futile local treatment will be. In fact, you can rub with liniments and use lotions by the gallon and never hope to reach the cause of your trouble. So man' people have found real permanent relief from their rheumatism by the use of S. S. S. that its use is justified in practically every case. Certainly, if your rheumatism is due to a germ in the blood, as so many thousands of cases are, you should lose no time in beginning the use of S. S. S., because you can rely upon this fine old blood remedy to do you more good than any other treatment. S. S. S. is beneficial in rheumatism because it is such a thorough blood medicine. It cleanses the blood of all impurities, and eradicates the germs which cause rheumatism. The wonderful results it has accomplished in other cases is proof of its great merit. S. S. S. has been on the market for more than fifty years and is sold by all druggists.

Kast Chicago now has a McCormaek club, organized to promote the candidacy of le McCorn.ack for re-election as mayor and to back him during; the campaign If he lnnds the nomination. The organization was held Inst evening; at the O'Neill gymnasium, l.il i Korsythe avrtiu1, The large hall v as packed with McCorrnack supporters from all parts of the city. Voters were there representing the various elements of foreign nativity and a larjre delegation of colored voters took an active part. Judjre William Keiland acted as temporary chairman and opened the meeting with John Sulski. city controller as temporary secretaiy. A number of acldri uses were made and It 'was decided to form a permanent organization. Attorney Walter 1'ipatka was chosen chairman of the club and Stanley Iiakota secretary, Another meeting of the club will be called soon at which campaign headquarters will be opvned.

TV7ITHIN a few weeks the W employees of the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) will be given an opportunity by the Company to buy shares in the capital stock of this organization under conditions which are distinctly favorable to the employee. This stock is to be paid for from the employees savings running over a period of five years. At the end of that time it is believed that the men actively engaged in conducting the business of this corporation will be possessed of a substantial interest in the business. This is but one other step which the Company has taken to make mutual the interests of those who are engaged in its activities and those who by the investment of their capital have made these activitiss possible. It is this spirit of fairness ever dominant in the minds of the management which has enabled the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) to gather an organization of enthusiastic, efficient, thoughtful and conscientious men and women who are devoting themselves to the betterment of that complete cycle of service which the Company is rendering the public. To give you the service you are entitled to receive and which it is the Company's wish to render, every employee realizes that infinite pains must be taken with every step leading up to the transaction. The Company believes that by making the active employees partners in the business, another step has been taken to achieve that perfection of service toward which we are striving.
