The additional six hours was incorporated in the employment limitation on the motion of Senator Van Orman, of Kvansvilie, a hotel manag-er. The amendment is desipned, it is understood, to permit the employment of women in hotels for seven 8-hour days in each week. The original bill provided a ninehour day and n six day week and

would permit women to work for ten ! hours on only one day, with a futy hour total. Labor organizations have- ' urged the passage of a law which will j
