"Eddie" Brislane was hanged in the county ajil today for the murder of William MiKj. a theatre manager, during a holdup of the box office last spring. Brislane started Sheriff Peters yesterday by detnariaing that his execution be staged i-i Grant Perk where ihoueands could witness it. "and learn the meaning of capital punishment" The request was denied however. Last hops for .an eleventh hour reprieve were shattered when Gov. Small denied the appeal of Brislane's aged mother.
