The wrangle over the weight situation was amicably settled late -sterday and both men have arranged to start training immediately. Rev. H. T. Otteson of Gary, will conduct at all services. A cantata. "The Spirit of Christmas" will be given by the Sunday school this evening at 7:30 at the Methodist church In East Chicago. Solos, duets, group songs and full choruses make up the music of the cantata. The story told Is very Interesting and closes with a Christmas tree scene. Between acts the primary department and the .Junior choir will sing. An offering will be received for the suffering children of Euro pa. The Triple L" club held their Christmas party on Monday erenln at the home of Miss Gertrude Peters 'n Hammond. A very pleasnt time was enjoyed by the members, after whlcn a dainty two course luncheon -was served by the hostess. The Triple "L" club will be entertained on next Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Margaret Lynn at a "Baby Doll" party. This will also be a farewell party on Miss Lynn who will take up her new duties after the Christmas holidays at Lansing, Mich. Miss Norma Linton has returned from DePau to spend Christmas with
