fact it will become even more embarrassing; than It is today. Senator Calder suggested the following plans for encouraging building: cent of saving deposits may be loaned on mortgages. Reduction of high waes. Tax exemption for incomes from mot gages. Restrictions of the issue of tax exemption certifications. Creation of a home banking system. Reduction of wages when living costs are reduced. Cancellation of all transportation priority orders.

Husband Charged With Laziness Divorce Asked The martial life of Alice Toung was not a very happy one Judging from the divoroe complaint filed by her in the ke superior court yeaterday. The plaintiff charges that her husband is lazy and shiftless, that he refused to work at all ttm.s. and most of his time was spent In entertaining wild women, that when he ever did
have any money, he would immediately spend it all by drinking and gambling it away. The case has not yet been set for trial.

charging that his wife refused to come to this country with him In 1913 when he sailed, lie aluo charges that his wife Is now living in adultery with one Matt Boslch In Roslca. and that on Nov. 2, 1919, a child was born to
them.
Rudolph also alleges that one child. Mary Babloh. now 10 years old. was born to this plaintiff and defendant. The child is now living in Roslca, Croatia, with the defendant. Plaintiff charges that the defendant is not a proper and fit person to take care of said child and seeks the custody of his daughter.

MINE CAVE-IN SEATTLE, Wash., Dec. 23 Four men are dead today as a result of a cave-in In the Black Diamond coal mine of the Paclflo Coast Coal company, southeast of this city. All night crews of men worked In an effort to unearth the bodies, but it Is expected It will be late today before they can be recovered. Hundreds of tons of rock and earth fell when the roof of the pit in whlcft the men were working, crashed down upon them. It Is believed they were killed Instantly.

an armed negro bandit early last eve
