Hello Bert: H e fact hat you are getting a little older each year and becoming blight. bald - '-n't men I've forgotten you by any means. As a matter of fact, I'm up in years myself, my hair is white and I'm a bit stout, but nevertheless us old fellows can prance some. Anyway, I never forget an old friend, especially if he was good when he was a boy. Say, Bert, speaking of pranemg. my reindeers, are just more than prancing; they're dead anxious to start for Hammond with this load of jewelry, musical instruments, appliances, clothing, bicycles, automobiles, candy, automobile tires, and a lot of savings account books. The jewelry I have this year runs from baby rings, wrist watches, lavallier.es, ivory sets, up to shelf and hall clocks; and really, Bert, it's classy stuff, too. Well, judge for yourself, I got the goods from Sam Silver, at 177 State street, right in Hammond. The candy, too, comes from the Hammond Candy Co., at 166 State stieet and 575 Hohman street. They've got all kinds of fresh chocolates, nut meats, bon bons, taffy, etc., and they make it themselves; so you. know it will be good. Incidentally, I'll leave some at your home for the youngsters. Oh, yes. I have added two more Santa Calus distribuitng stations the Jackson Auto Sales and Straube Piano Co., who will alo help me with the presents Christmas Eve. I am now loading up the second section of the great Reindeer Special, which will carry eighteen large sleds. The first section will contam candy, nuts, chewing gum, etc. The second section will carry jewelry. Expect to have this section completed by tomorrow. Now be sure and listen for three distinct knocks Christmas Eve. V.hen you hear that, you'll know it's mc. Sincerelv, lANTA CLAUS. P. S.
