Don't Dissapoint Her

Make this Christmas a significant one in her life. You had thought of an automobile, hadn't you? But future prices seemed to cause you to hesitate. You may be assured prices will not drop. This applies particularly to Jackson cars. The price was low when other cars had an jnflated value. Take a Jackson and place it alongside any $5000 par, and you will then realize Jackson automobiles are sensibly priced. But should Jackson prices drop, we protect Jackson owners to exactly the extent any other standard manufacturer would. : Thorough, convincing demonstrations allowed responsible parties. SANTA CLAUS

Miss Katheryn Purcell, Hammond, Ind.

North Pole, December 3, 1920.

Dear Miss Purcell: Am very sorry but it will be impossible for mc to bung you a Poodle Dog this Christmas, as our crop ran short and those we have left are already promised. We have a very beautiful St. Bernard dog, but I am sure you would not want him, as he will cat nothing but porterhouse steak, and French fried toast soaked in buttermilk. His meals would exceed the income of a Pullman porter, so it looks as though a menagerie for you this Christmas is out of the question, so far as Santa Claus is concerned. Last Christmas I delivered a Fox Terrier to a home down on Park place. They happened to have a cat in the house. The dog chased the cat into the player piano, and then the music started. I had to leave at that juncture and never learned how the scrap came out, but I guess between the fight and the music the folks there had a pretty good entertainment for a while. lou'd be surprised to see what some people expect. At one home on Summer Street one of the boys hung up his pants with the bottoms tied, instead of hanging up his stocking. Instead of filling the legs up with candy I happened to have some cxcelsiro and made good use of it. At another place in Kenwood they set out an empty keg in the middle of the living room guess they wanted me to be sure and stumble over it. I did. then I fell over against the fern and it went through the front window, out onto the porch. I've been trying to figure out since whether they wanted that keg filled with candy or "white mule." Santa Claus sees lots of funny things on his yearly rounds. The first thing I do when I enter a home is to look around and see if everyone is in bed. Many times I find them hiding behind the piano, or under the davenport. As a punishment 1 refuse the leave that member of the family any presents. Well, Katheryn. I would have written more, but time is short now and it will not be long until you will hear the jingle of the sleigh bells, so be patient till Christmas. Sincerely,' SANTA CLAUS. P. S. Is there anything else you will want besides the -Jackson Six?
