I am afraid the warm friendship that has existed between us will be ruptured, but I plead with you not to lose your equilibrium. You heard about the accident up here, no doubt, in which we came near losing our home and our lives. Well, Mrs. Santa urges me to ask you to come up, bring the cross-cut and saw up the North Pole. That will keep us in fuel until Christmas. Then we will give you a free ride back home. Let me know. how soon you will be here. You ought to see my 20-reindeer team. It makes a grand sleigh-bell chorus. And for speed, this team can make an airplane seem like a snail trot.
