November 26th, when LItas Josephine Lit became the bride of Anthony 3. Voas at nine o'clock, the Kev. Berg reading the high nua, The bride was accompanied to the altar by her brother Bernard Lite. She wore a lovely gotvn ot brown pan velvet, i rimmed in flfured canton crrpa with . hat to match. Anna Llii, her stater, served as maid of honor and the Misses Anna Alberts and Oraaella Chevlarny who also wore dresses of pan velvet w ith hats to match 'were brides mild. Frank Albert served the groom as it man, the other attendants Vf-r Al King: and I J. Immerlln?. A very pretty m was suns; by the mixed choir under the direction of Professor Grambol. After the ceremony a dinner recaption was held at the bride's home for the relatives after which Mr. and Mr. Vol left on an extended trip through the east and will be at h-ma to their friends at 19 Plbley etreet after December 15th, 1920. Tba bride Is very well known In Hammond and has been employed as cashier and paymaster of the K. C. Mlnas Co. for s. period of elffht years. Ir. Thanksgiving dinner was enjeyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Soderberg of Lyons street by a number ot their Chicago relatives and friends. Tha guests spent a very enjoyable evening with muslo and dancing. Mrs. Florence Hembroff of Valparaiso was the guest for Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Hembroff of Doty street. Mr. and Mrs. B. I P. Bell of "Webb street entertained the Motts, Hohmans and the T. E. Bells at Thanksgiving dinner yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. 'Wra. Fehrman were guests at a Thanksgiving dinner In Chicago yeeterday and In the evening they saw Honey Girl. P.-. and Mrs. T. E. MONON OUT OF SERVICE
Repairs are Ordered by Government Inspectors. Service is Hindered LAFAYETTE, IXD.. Nov. 26 Government Inspectors visited the Monon railroad roundhouse here and put no many locomotives out of servlr-a that the railroad was bnrely able today to run Its psssongcr trains. Freight service Wa9 left practioelly demoralized. The Inspectors pay they found many locomotives out of repair and gave orders that they are not to fce tised until they have been placed In the roundhouse and put In proper condition. The unexpected visit of the Inspectors and 1helr drastic orders caused much confusion and excitement at the shops. Many of the crews reported for work this morning, but found that their trains could not bo moved because no motive rower was available. Finally It was possible to start two freight trains, one north and one south. F.y rushing repairs It Is believed that service will be restored In a few days.
