Mrs. L. 1 Bomberger of Glendale very pleasntly entertained the Kmbroidery Club at a one o'clock luncheon at her home yesterday. The decorations and favors were typical of Thanksgiving and Marjory and Greasier Bomberger dressed as Puritans assisted In serving. Mrs. Ray Champman will have the next meeting. Julius Meyn, who underwent an operation in the Presbyterian hospital In Chicago last week, is getting along nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Tillman went Into Chicago yesterday to see Mrs. Tillman's father. John Cnmstock, who Is quite 111 with pneumonia.

The sixteenth annual dinner of tin Indiana Society of Chicago will be he.d at the Drake hotel. Chicago. December IS. Invitations for the dinner will be sent out next week. Will H. Hays, chairman of the Republican national committee, will be a guest of honor. I-ucius Teeter, president of the society, will appoint the committees to arrange the dinner next week. Among those who will take a promlnet part on the program are Frederick Landts. of Logansport; George Ade, John T. McCutcheon, George T. Buckingham and Mr. Teeter.
