In addition to these games the contests between Dartmouth and Brown at Boston; Minnesota and lliohlgran at Minneapolis; Notre Dame and Northweetern at Evanston; Nebraska and the Michigan Aggies at Lincoln; Purrue and Indiana at Lafayette; Syracuse and Colgate at Syracuse, and Columbia and Pennsylvania at the Polo grounds will be watched with the keenest interest. The performances of many players who are making strong bids for All American honors this fall will attract as much ltnerest as the outcome of tne various panes, and all In all, it looks like the banner Saturday of a. brilliant season. The Tale-Harvard clash will be tho thirty-ninth between these teams. Boxing Show for Slovak Dom

Bf JIMMIE HAY. WHJTI.VO. Ind., Nov. 19. The stage Is all set for the boxing show tomorrow night at the Slovak Dom in Whiting. The principals in all tho bouts have been working hard, each endeavoring to make the. best pos Jlble showing. In addition there Is some personal feeling In one of the bouts anl the fur will fly thick and fast. The big fellows. O'Neil and Waynfr, are especially anxious to show local fans th'Mr repotolre. Wagner, who is a member of the "Whiting Are department finds considerable time to train, and the fans who have watched him in his daily workout feel that he is n comer and that more will be heard of him. Foxy Tim O'Neil isn't saying much, but It Is known that he is clever an dpacks a wicked punch. Wagner must keep away from this In order to come out on top. The bout will go ten rounds. The seml-wlndup will bring together Joe Bishop and Billy Groat. These boys have fought once before and Bishop was given the decision. However, Billy Groat feels that he has Improved since that meeting and he must win In order to command attention. If he does win over Bishop, he will have to hustle, for Bishop has lost none of his cleverness even though It Is claimed he has slowed up. Joe says he "s as fast as ever. The opening bout will be between Young McGoorty, the fighting young Irishman from Robertsdale and Eddie Shepperd of East Chicago. These boys will step six rounds at 120. For little fellows these boys both hava a reputation as sluggers.

This Is the first show the American Legion has pulled off at Whiting, and the number of tickets sold Indicate that the bouts will be well patronized. Morris Champaign of Hammond and Warren Renno will referee the bouts. Representative-elect Ahlgren will d'j the anounclng. Tickets can be had at Monnetts In Hammond and Club Pool Room at East Chicago.

Jack Dempsey, the world's heavyweight champion, will defend his title in a fifteenround bout against BUI Brennan, the Chicago challenged, at Madison Square Garden here on Fr'Tiay, December 14. This will be the first contest between big fellows to be decided in New York state under the Walker law and was made possible by the acticn taken by the state boxing commission here yesterday during a joint meeting with the license committee. In a statement last night the commissioners said they had decided that a point had been reached In the operation cf the new boxing law where they felt justified in permitting heavyweight boxing contests.
