Fold in one cup of canned apricots, or.e banana, three-fourths of cup of pineapple and one-half cup of fresh berries, all cut in small pieces. Freeze like ice cream and serve on salad ?rreen3.

Chop the meat finely, add one teaspoon pepper, and scant half teaspoon cloves. Pound in mortar, adding gradually butter and liquor. Pack in jars. Cover with melted fat. VEAL AND HAM PIE Two pounds of lean veal, 2 hard

boiled eggs, parsley or savory herbs, 3 potatoes, 4 pound of ham, 1 small onioi, salt and pepper, stock. Trim the veal and remove any bone it may contain cover with

(water and add the sliced onion, the

parsley or a hair bay lear, or a little thyme and a little grated lemon rind. Simmer for about twenty minutes, then add the ham and simmer for twenty minutes longer. Cut the veal and ham in small portions. Ii the bottom of a deep baking dish place the potatoes, peeled and sliced thin, sprinkled with salt and pepper. On top of this arrange the meat and then pour over the veal and ham stock seasoned with pepper and salt and thickened with a little flour. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in slices and place over the meat. Cover with a pastry-dough that is not too rich, bn.sh over with a beaten egg, making a hole in the center to allow the steam to escape. Bake slowly two hours.
