A further demonstration of L. T. L. work was enacted by Hammond boys and girls in which eight girls sang; "The Angel's Chorus" at the close of which a living picture was shown. The third part of the evening's program was in charge of Mrs. Julia Overman, state superintendent of medal contest work. Mrs. Overman presented six contestants in a diamond modal contest. The program of the contest follows: No. 1 Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness. No. 2 Her Mothers Song. No. 3 Wanted. Manhood. A soloist from Whiting;. Miss Esperance Schlete sang a number by Hayden Wood. No. 4 Man In The Shadow. Xo. 6 The High Cost of Medical Alcohol. No. 6---How They Euilt The Church at Kehoe's Bar." While the Judges retired to make their decision, Mrs. Hollcy Hopper entertained the audience with a humorous reading. Mrs. Munns, national treasurer of W. C. T. U.. presented diplomas to two women from Grsnt county who have completed the medal contest course, these two bodies having- won the silver, gold, grand gold and diamond medalr. The judges decision gave the medal to No. 0. Mr. Norman Quinn of Mar'ori county. -Mr. Quinn has been in T. P. B. work a number of years and has been trained by a Christian mother.
