"Save Scouting in East Chicago." will be the slogan for next Wednesday and Thursday when half a hundred men and an equally large number of women will canvass the entire city of Kast Chicago in an effort to raise. $5,(0 'or the maintenance of scouting during the folowing year. The two day campaign will begin Wednesday noon with a Boy Scout meeting; of the Chamber of Commerce at the Congregational church. The Chamber of Commerce members are lack of trie scout campaign and have volunteered during the two days to devote a certain amount of time to canvassing the business houses of the ciiy. There will also be a number or women present who have volunteered to make a canvass of the residence section. J. P.
